After graduating with honors from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, Dr. Fanders attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. While at Palmer he participated in many advanced trainings including being a participant in the clinic abroad program. This opportunity sent Dr. Fanders and a group students and doctors oversea in which he was able to treat over 180 medically under-served patients in 14 days. For Dr. Fanders “It was a great  experience, taught the world about Chiropractic, and showed me that my purpose is to heal the land.” Dr. Fanders graduated Magnum Cum Laude and earned a place in the Pi Tau Delta Honor Society.

Dr. Fanders passion for Chiropractic started in his youth during a time when his mom was suffering from Sciatica. She visited many doctors and therapists but it wasn’t until she visited a Doctor of Chiropractic that she was helped. After witnessing his moms struggle and the help she had received from Chiropractic he felt it was his calling to study this science and art and had the opportunity to shadow her Chiropractor. From this point forward he knew that his purpose was to make chiropractic his career and help as many people as possible.

In Dr. Fanders spare time you will find him enjoying time with his wife Chelsea and their dog Henry, trying new restaurants and activities in the Kansas City area, watching sports and spending time outdoors – hunting, fishing, camping, and hiking.
